About Supple Spine Institute
Supple Spine Institute provides high-quality training programmes and continuing education in veterinary chiropractic, osteopathy and manual therapy. We offer small-scale education with personal guidance and close attention to both theory and practice.
In the Netherlands, veterinarians and veterinary physiotherapists are permitted to independently perform chiropractic and/or osteopathic treatments. Paraveterinary professionals may do so only under the supervision of a veterinarian.
For this reason, Supple Spine Institute offers the Basic Veterinary Osteopathy Training Programme to these three professional groups. Paraveterinary professionals receive the necessary medical foundational knowledge, enabling them to apply osteopathy independently in a theoretical or supportive context, always under the responsibility of a veterinarian.
Veterinarians and veterinary physiotherapists are directly eligible for the chiropractic training programme. Paraveterinary professionals may participate provided they have completed the Basic Veterinary Osteopathy Training Programme at SSI or at an equivalent institute, and always work under the supervision of a veterinarian.
Our institute was founded to share up-to-date knowledge of manipulative techniques for companion animals. We continuously stay informed of current literature and research, ensuring that students always work with the most recent insights.
